Daily Duties at Lamppost Pizza And Main Street Brewery :

Directly responsible for supervision of 20-25 employees. Planned, organized, directed, and coordinated the staff and resources of the restaurant for the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverage. Work with cooks and other personnel to plan menus that are flavorful and popular with customers. Work with cooks for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service. Supervise operation of bar to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations. Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions. Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Work to improve performance. Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages. Check quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods. Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services. Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at end of day. Select or create successful menu items based on many considerations, and assign prices based on cost analysis. Schedule work hours for servers and kitchen staff. Maintain relationships with customers and staff. Update and use job-related knowledge. Process and analyze information when scheduling and budgeting. Implement ideas or products. Get information from customers, employees, and inventory records.
