Allen Home Health Care, Inc. Asst. Director of Nursing, 09/2010-04/2011 • Management of Medicare home care patients, Post-Op surgical wounds & decubitus ulcers, Wound Vac., IV therapy, Infection Control, Workman’s Comp and Employee Health screening, scheduling, interviewing and hiring process. • Responsible for the daily and effective care of patients, office, and field staff management on a 24 hour on call basis. • Application of policy and procedure review, QA/QI chart auditing, formatting and signing 485 plans of care, and diagnostic ICD-9 coding. • Responsible for initiating, guiding and directing the coordination of services provided by designated nursing, therapy, and nurse aides. • Functioned as a resource person for staff members and instructed necessary annual in-service education, and chaired weekly staff meetings with individual or groups of staff members.
