Performed multifaceted responsibilities to configure, install, and administer networks LAN’s, site-to-site VPN’s, and Wi-Fi’s. Fulfilled administrative responsibilities, including the addition and any changes to desktops, laptops workstations, email, client software, iPhone, iPad, and Blackberry’s. Installed, upgraded and monitored Servers in addition to facilitating nightly backups and restores when needed. Performed quarterly assessment on servers, end-user stations, and software. Install and monitor Anti-Virus software, research newer technologies as well as keeping up to date on Security updates on servers, PC’s and any computing device. Teaching users how to use applications and devices; provide ongoing support for end users 24/7. Creating technical documents for end users. Responsible for documenting network changes as well as keeping track of all company accounts (network and software related). Negotiate ISP, cellular and other related contracts (software licensing and upgrades). Maintained SQL Server, Exchange Server, Citrix, File Server, Domain Controller, Active Directory (add/delete/modify all accounts), and Thin-Anywhere Server. Monitored network activity though the Watchguard (Firewall/Router) console. Maintained and hosted company domain through Go-Daddy; created the company webpage and modified when needed. Setup and maintained virtual PBX through Ring Central. Attend webinars and seminars for Oil and Gas related software, Symantec products, Watchguard technologies. Attends Apple’s classes for iMac, iPhone, iPad, and iCloud support.
