Daily Duties at Viasystem:
Monthly closing activities: Prepare intercompany invoices and journal entries for four locations including activity in foreign currency. Prepared balance sheet reconciliations and coordinate resolution of open items. Prepare monthly customer use tax for the Department of Revenue in Colorado. Assist external auditors by providing support documents. Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll, bank accounts, prepaid expenses and freight accrual. Prepare attachments to the financial statement with the detail of sales, accounts receivables, payables and miscellaneous receivables. Daily tracking payroll for regular and overtime hours for 300 employees in Denver and Virginia. Reconcile vendors’ statement with accounts payable and purchasing department to process accurate payments. Work with the billing department processing credits approved by sales and quality department.
