Daily Duties at Skip's Pharmacy:
Worked mainly with the technicians to learn how to compound medications using powder,tablets,liquids,creams and ointments. Used a variety of compounding equipment for measuring and formulating medications. Was given a research project to glean information from a clinical trial on a drug containing the hormone Estrogen and to determine whether this medication was appropriate for a patient having migraine headaches. My presentation was given on paper and orally to the entire pharmacy staff.
