Daily Duties at Patrick Air Force Base:
My intern colleagues and I were given a research project to explain the value of using pharmacoeconomics in a health care facility. We developed a presentation to compare the value of one pharmaceutical drug to another. To do this we showed the cost(expressed in monetary terms) and effects(expressed interms of monetary value,efficacy and enhanced quality of life)of several drug products being considerd for use at the facility. We gave the presentation to the entire pharmacy staff and the base facility.
