Daily Duties at Madison Homes Inc:
Responsible for company insurances, human resources, accounting functions, loan maintenance, and purchasing for three active building projects, tax planning and coordination with tax preparer to ensure accurate tax returns while managing 3 other employees. Manager of Information Systems, Communications, and Risk Management. Accounting (making all the transactions in all the ledgers on a daily basis), prepare financial statements monthly, report to the partners quarterly, coordinate the company's audit and tax filings for all entities, maintain the corporate insurances (work with the broker annually to find the general liability and builders' risk policies, workers compensation policy, health insurance policies, life insurance policies, long term disability policies), prepare and manage employee benefit packages-(by puchasing the insurance policies and managing the payment, finding the 401K plan, establishing it, and reporting annually to stay in compliance, purchasing the life insurance policies, and managing vacation and sick days for the employees) establish policies and procedures, write employee manuals, job-costing and reporting, budget preparation annually for all entities and variance reporting quarterly, cash flow projections monthly, loan administration (work with the bank to establish a loan budget, prepare monthly draw packages to go to the bank with the loan budget and copies of all the invoices categorized within the budget, then when the money is funded instructing AP to pay only the invoices drawn), tax planning. Prepare biweekly payroll. Partner with management to ensure the company's success.
