Daily Duties at Omicron Solutions, Inc.:

- Managed projects providing information security and information assurance consulting services and solutions for eight customers ranging from small non-profits to large international banks. - Supervised security project teams ranging from 2 to 20 consultants and engineers. - Managed project budgets up to $1.25M per year. - Developed security solutions for customers resulting in significant reduction of risk to information assets, facilities, and personnel. Solutions include security in-depth network architecture, facility enhancements such as improved intrusion detection and notification, and policy and procedures enhancements for personnel and physical security based on high level threats to the safety of customer personnel. - Conducted penetration testing with the goal of discovering critical exposure points in a customer's security posture and providing feedback to the customer in how best to mitigate those exposure points, ultimately resulting in decreased risk to critical information assets. - Led IT compliance audits for customers with the goal of finding compliance gaps that could expose information assets, facilities, and personnel to possible disclosure, data loss, or harm. - - Audited against compliance standards such as SOX, HIPAA, PCI, NERC CIP, ISO 27001, ITIL, and NIST SP 800-53.
