Daily Duties at Ibm:
Brought into the financial analyst role for Software Group, to manage the Revenue and Expense reporting for the Workd wide management team. Specifically manage world wide business unit revenue budget was in excess of $25.0B. In addition manage financial personnel around the world. Our delivery each month was report budget to actual variances on a monthly basis, work with the geography managers to determine any corrective actions required either from cost or expense actions. In addition I was responsible for managing the action items and ensuring they reached closure each month. Additional responsibilities included working with management on resource allocation, defining action plans to any corporate mandated expense actions. Working with management on the annual budget for the division, including allocating budgets by product. Work with Senior level management to achieve a yearly strategic plan for the division, this included managing the world wide financial team to meet common goals and deadlines. My job responsibility included managing 9 financial analysts from around the world.
