Daily Duties at General Dynamics:

• Manage production operations for two international vendors/suppliers to ensure project scope, on time deliveries, budget overruns control, and negotiate contract proposals • Direct cross-functional focus team to support program priorities and drive supplier success to meet performance base payment milestones • Mended and repaired a stressed / broken relationship between the Taiwanese Military controlled production facility and GD-OTS • Develop alternate technical approaches, work-around contingencies, and get-well plans to address project challenges • Facilitate communication and cooperation between supplier, internal, and customer engineering and quality communities • Develop, track and report monthly supplier production and yield metrics • Research, write, edit and execute technical documents inclusive of test plans, test reports, quality assurance provisions, plans of inspection, and critical defect plans. • Lead a process improvement that eliminated lot contamination and ensured homogeneity • Led and performed government witnessed Design Verification / Validation Testing (DVT), First Article Inspection / Testing (FAI/T) and system and component level qualification testing • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and verifications of effectiveness such as actions for customer complaints, internal audits, and internal and external supplier’s non-conformance. • Designed and specified inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests; and performed statistical analyses to access the cost and determine the responsibility for products or materials that did not meet required standards or specifications. • Provide leadership in advanced quality planning techniques (FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Capability Studies, Measuring and Test Equipment Studies, Product Validation and Reliability Test.
