• Provide Program Management services for large government projects including strategy, and coordination between multiple project teams, and regulatory approvals • Develop and strategically manage critical business relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external • Build and maintain mutually beneficial supplier partnerships by fostering feedback and continuous improvements • Ensures completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines; tracks milestones and timelines across projects and institutes necessary work flow and resource allocations • Provide engineering planning, scheduling, risk management, opportunity identification and follow-through, status reporting and execution of the technical requirements of a production program • Evaluate supplier / vendor production and manufacturing process capabilities • Evaluate supplier performance including quality, delivery, price and technical abilities • Assess suppliers for procurement source selection based on performance, cost, schedule and reputation • Negotiate and manage multi-million dollar contracts • Analyze and provide technical support for manufacturing systems to provide: safe methods, optimal production capabilities, cost reduction opportunities, process control methods and plans, and manufacturing layouts. • Identify and assess production improvement opportunities in terms of risk mitigation, material flow, operator movement and general cycle times concluding in a 65% reduction in operator movement, 63% reduction in material flow / unit, & a 10 minute / unit cycle time reduction • Reduce scrap and rework rates by 15% through continuous process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing techniques • Assessed, recommend and executed cost saving initiatives, optimized packaging configurations and increased storage capacity 100% by re-designing a more robust, reusable, and 30% cheaper shipping container • Create and execute prove in test plans, Statement of Works (SOW), design specifications requirements for multiple components and weapon systems • Modernized a mature legacy design resulting in a 15% increase in first time yield and a 20% reduction in scrap. • Lead a Process Lean Event that reduced overall process time by 20 minutes and eliminated multiple process steps.
