Daily Duties at Successfactors:

As a Senior iContent Consultant, I am regarded as a subject matter expert for online learning standards (AICC and SCORM 1.2/2004) and how these standards interact with the SuccessFactors/SAP learning management system throughout the organization. Being in an SME role, I often work with our sales team on various sales engagement related to online content, and have been included in many sales demos and presentations. I also work with our client services organization on a project by project basis for clients who are not iContent subscribers, to solve online content related issues, and as an added benefit, I try to show them the value of the iContent service so they may consider becoming a subscriber in the future. Being a part of our managed services organization, I am also in charge of over thirty-five different client accounts for the iContent service, and act as the client’s first point of contact. I am the client’s resource when they experience problems related to content or the LMS, need advice on how they should best deliver their online content to their end user, what technologies to use, as well as request to change the contractual scope of their iContent service. As a point of contact for the client, a large part of my job is to troubleshoot and test the client’s online content, and as such, I have to be very familiar with front-end technologies including XML, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and Java. I also facilitate workshops and kickoff meetings regarding the iContent service and online content for our clients. Many of my customers are federal agencies, and in order to work with them, I’ve attained OPM clearance (Public Trust).

What they like about Successfactors:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
