Daily Duties at Physical Research Laboratory:
Worked on research project of LIDAR system. Responsible to design, implement and debug Laser Energy Monitoring System with LCD display. The LIDAR Lab is used to measure proportion of atmospheric particles by transmitting pulsed LASER in atmosphere to about 100 Kms altitude, the scattered component of laser is captured by telescope proportion can be measured. developed instrument is used at transmitting end of the lab to verify the laser energy, the system was updating energy reading after every second on attached LCD display(interfaced using Microcontroller) and also sending readings to computer via RS232. This brought lot of confidence to do designing of hardware from scratch by just looking at requirements of situation.
