Daily Duties at Nassau County Attorneys Office:
• Proven ability in consistently establishing and implementing a special Investigations unit in January 2007 by providing outstanding investigative services for different situations on behalf of forty-four county agencies. • Successfully creates and put into service a case management system to be used in a wide range of cases. • Performs and supervises the gathering of data for investigations of reported or suspected workplace violence, workers compensation, internal investigations, and tort investigations including 3rd party misrepresentations. • Fully responsible for a significant reduction in frequency rate of Workers Compensation claims in County by 50%. • Successfully attains the organization's target loss reduction from $260M to $150M in reserves for fiscal 2008-2009. • Implements and modernizes state-of-the-art surveillance and monitoring equipment to gather accurate data. • Coordinates and closely manages investigative services in conjunction with Risk Management initiatives. • Establishes inter-agency liaison with County law-enforcement community by tapping into network of relationships. • Provides testimony and evidence before State Courts, Administrative Courts, and Arbitration panels.
