Daily Duties at Mohawk/Unilin:
Managing all operations within the 260 employee hardwood flooring facility in a turn-around situation including: maintaining a safe work environment, maintaining accountability of managers and employees for setting and meeting safety, quality, environmental, production, scheduling, engineering, maintenance and financial expectations. Maintain high ethical standards and integrity through leadership by example. Under my short tenure in the leadership role, the facility has improved in several areas, meeting and exceeding expectations and often setting records. Areas of improvement include; Safety, Quality, Productivity, Efficiencies, Equipment Maintenance, On-Time Shipments, Schedule Adherence and Employee Morale. Consistently met and exceeded all annual personal performance expectations.
