Daily Duties at Johnson & Johnson :

Led high profile project team for Sterilization Engineering Department. Project manager for high performing team to design, install, and qualify a Non-CFC 100% EtO sterilization process for multimillion dollar business. Staff Engineer/Capital Projects. As the Staff Engineer, I installed and commissioned a 100% nitrogen filled room with automated sealing equipment and the ability to maintain the equipment without going into the room (specialized tools and glovebox). I wrote and edited PLC control code for the process automation and developed and edited the human interface screens for the operators to use in running the equipment. I also wrote and edited the PLC code for an automatic elevator and conveyance system within the nitrogen filled room, so that no human action was needed inside for product processing. Because of my success with this engineering project (one piece of the overall LARGE project), I was promoted to the overall project manager role. In this role, I managed the project activities including the budget. This included a daily startup meeting with approx 40 team members to review the daily schedule, activities, and any issues needing focus. Strongly emphasized safety and lock out tag out processes due to the inherent safety concerns with this highly explosive gas (100% Et0). The new process was successfully implemented.
