Led a large manufacturing/packaging department in tactical decision making within the Suture Manufacturing Business Unit (500 + associates, union and professional staff). oversaw department performance and customer service results. Responsible for the development, administration, and controls of the department's budget. Established the objectives and key performance indicators of the department in order to comply with the business goals. Ensured direct reports were properly cross-trained on all areas to have a flexible workforce. Support validations activities, New Product introduction, and Technology transfers. Actively identified continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiencies and cycle time.
