Daily Duties at Kyphon Inc.:

Responsible for the development and improvement of manufacturing processes. Rolled out Lean Six Sigma to the company and conducted training. Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to improve key business metrics. Perform training and mentoring of Green Belts as required to create a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor key metrics to sustain the benefits of completed projects and maintain a pipeline of improvement opportunities. The following areas are the major areas of focus: Lead assigned Six Sigma projects using DMAIC and/or Lean methodology; Documenting the organization’s business process structure through value stream mapping; Providing data analysis that supports process design and re-engineering of key business processes.; Deliver Green Belt and awareness level training.
