Daily Duties at Tn& Associates:
• Train various project managers on preparing cost reports. • Present various presentations on reading and understanding system reports. • Prepare vouchers and journal entries to effect adjustments, transfers, and corrections to the general ledger and the budget ledger of central accounting authorities. • Review fiscal source documents for completeness, mathematical accuracy, sufficiency of information, proper coding, and proper application of fees, refunds, collections, taxes and discounts. • Assist project managers in preparation of revenue variances reports and departmental forecast. • Examine fiscal and accounting records to determine the sufficiency of funds or to establish spending limitation figures. • Reconcile two sets of accounting records to each other to achieve a proper balance. • Adjust, close, and balance accounts and prepare year-end statements under the supervision or direction of the supervisor. • Post items to specific assigned journals and ledgers. • Notify other related agency personnel of incorrectly filled out accounting documentation. • Converted manual accounting systems to computerized general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll systems.
