Daily Duties at Texas A&M University Central Texas:

Prepare and teach courses in teacher education and professional development aligned with state competencies utilizing best practices in education. Hold Graduate Faculty status. Teach undergraduate classes in lesson planning, classroom management, instructional models, assessment, teacher effectiveness and curriculum development. Prepare and teach graduate courses in technology integration, research methods, proposal design, action research methods and methods of academic assessment. Teach face-to-face and blended online courses in accordance with SACS accreditation guidelines and current policy mandates. Coordinator of Online Programs for the Department of Education. Participate as a member of the C&I department in the design, planning and conduct of the pre-service teacher program. Contributing member of the Academic Assessment and Distance Learning Committees. Instructor rating for all courses consistently averaged above 4 on a 5-point scale. Expert in use of Blackboard 9.1, Respondus, Camtasia, Centra, Web 2.0 and other development tools
