Daily Duties at Good Samaritan Hospital:

Responsibilities included: patient triage, mentoring numerous graduate nurses, and nursing care for patients of all ages including nursing assessment, medication administration, IV/phlebotomy, wound care, respiratory treatments, patient/family education and coordination for discharge/transfer. The Emergency Department hired many new-grad staff nurses, and I chose to leave rather than be forced to use vacation time to make a full-time pay check.
