Supervised pharmacy technicians'drug preparation and distribution activities to provide safe, efficient care for patients; Reviewed and processed electronic prescriptions for accuracy and quality; Consulted with physicians and/or nursing staff via telephone regarding prescriptions, interactions, and patient reactions to medications; Educated patients and consumers on the use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications; Provided critical information and advice to patients regarding possible drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage; Trained and mentored new pharmacists and technicians;
