Managed team to lead Ingres with new Open Source products such as IceBreaker, ingres.com/news/2006-08-15_Icebreaker.html. Worked with Corporate MarComm teams to message to industry analysts, investor community, and entire ecochamber. Press in ComputerWorld, Linuxworld.com.au/index.php/id;1076099812;fp;2;fpid;1, Forbes, Businessweek, Ovum, Forrester Report & others. Created Global Cust CIO Forums in New York, Paris, & Frankfurt whereby corporate strategy was communicated & feedback was obtained from C-Level client reps Managed projects for key clients with the goal of migrating databases & apps systems to O S solutions. Led efforts to define alternative O S application solutions designed to reduce customer TCO. Led partnership efforts with key applications, infrastructure and system integration partners to increase Ingres footprint and name recognition. Create & grew global customer ref program to assist Sales, Mktg & Comms in their efforts to re-establish Ingres brand name
