Daily Duties at Schultz, Chaipel And Company, Llp (Now Part Of Larson Allen, Llp):

I was originally hired to assist in all aspects of the firm's practice, including preparation of individual, business and non-profit tax filings. I also participated in financial statement audits, reviews and compilations for a variety of different entity types. After approximately my first year of service, tax emerged as my primary talent and interest, at which time I began spending the majority of my time on tax services, including gathering and compiling client data relevant to income tax research, planning and compliance; preparing Individual (Form 1040), Corporate (Forms 1120/1120S), including consolidated and multi-state, Partnership (Form 1065), Estate and Trust (Form 1041), and Non-Profit (Forms 990/990-T) income tax returns; and reviewing and responding to correspondence from the federal and state taxing authorities. Industries served: Construction and real estate, professional service, distribution, wholesale, construction, governmental and non-profit.

What they like about Schultz, Chaipel And Company, Llp (Now Part Of Larson Allen, Llp):

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
