Gathering and compiling client data relevant to income tax research, planning and compliance; reviewing, and occasionally preparing, Individual (Form 1040), Corporate (Forms 1120/1120S), including consolidated and multi-state, Partnership (Form 1065), and Estate and Trust (Form 1041) income tax returns; supervising and training staff level tax personnel; assisting with preparation and review of FAS 109 income tax provisions; conferring and corresponding with clients regarding tax-related issues; reviewing and responding to correspondence from the federal and state taxing authorities; rendering monthly billings for selective engagements. Industries served include: Real estate, auto, professional service (including medical and law practices), distribution, and professional employer organizations.
