Initiate and conduct preliminary evaluations and assist new and established cooperatives in conducting complex economic feasibility’s of proposed cooperative operation. Identify and analyze difficult and complex problems impacting organizational or marketing structure and financial performance of cooperatives. Assist producer groups in forming new cooperatives. Initiate and implement orientations, training, and development to cooperative members and staff. Present research results verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences and across a variety of mass media. Organized, hold and chair strategic planning sessions with industry leaders, cooperative leaders and farm groups and producers nation wide. Teach cooperative principles to organized farmer groups. Write educational material related to cooperative education.
