Duties included gathering and compiling client data relevant to income tax research, planning and compliance; reviewing and preparing Individual (Form 1040), Corporate (Forms 1120/1120S), including consolidated and multi-state, Partnership (Form 1065), Estate and Trust (Form 1041), and Private Foundation (Form 990-PF) income tax returns; supervising and training staff level tax personnel; assisting with preparation and review of FAS 109 income tax provisions; conferring and corresponding with clients regarding tax-related issues; reviewing and responding to correspondence from the federal and state taxing authorities; preparing bills as engagements are completed. I also participated significantly in the firm's litigation support practice. Industries served include: Construction and real estate, professional service (including medical and law practices), distribution, manufacturing, professional employer organizations, and private foundations.
