Daily Duties at Mc Cray Lumber And Millwork:

Duties include soliciting sales , analyzing blueprints, and specifications per projects to determine pricing, scheduling material, handling daily and hourly orders from superintends on job site, reconciling month end billing, going to job site daily, handling customer service issues. By solicing sales, I guess I should have said mantaing sales because Pulte Homes was my only account and it account for about 10% of our business. I was given this account to salvage due to the previse account manager missed managemt. I accessed the problem and started from there, one was to train our staff on Pultes polies and procure so they would understand why it was important for them and us, once I got material handlers and truck drivers on board we were able to give them great customer service and also great pricing. To the extent that Pulte home stayed with us till they pulled up stakes and left town. Pulte had national accounts with certain of our vendors and I would work out special pricing with them and then I would be able to work out special pricing with Pulte. Each time new quarterly pricing came around I would look at the market trend and demand and price the total package that would meet our company margins between 25 and 30%. If you want numbers that was 5 years ago and I didn’t keep any records of my time McCray. I went to the job site daily to make sure that correct material arrived and was to Pulte satisfaction and to see if the superintendant need any else and what was upcoming daily or weekly that might affect scheduling. Customer service issues could be anything form damage material to a defective door, to delivering material to the wrong location. I would have to be available to handle all types of issues relating to home construction from start to finish.

What they like about Mc Cray Lumber And Millwork:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
