Daily Duties at Mount Vernon Hospital:
• Providing HIV/AIDS prevention education, workshops, counseling, rapid testing, treatment referrals, advocacy and other services to the community of Mount Vernon and New Rochelle • Supervising staff • Developing and updating new linkages to deliver services to other organizations in a monthly basis including DSS, WDOH and Mount Vernon Police Department • Continually services to other providers before and after working hours • Maintaining records of all services, ensuring and delivering rapid testing to Spanish clients including translation • Developing weekly and monthly reports • Delivering HIV/AIDS services at the DSS Department • Enrolling clients in the AIRS System • Participating in different HIV/AIDS networks • Organizing the program’s documentation to be audited
