Daily Duties at Food Import Group:

Responsible for strategic sourcing budget of 200 Million, 4000 skus and 8 different private label agreements. Developed and implemented strategies, processes and procedures that achieved the company’s mission Negotiated and saved millions of dollars by buying from wholesalers instead of manufacturers Experience with formal sourcing methodologies and in end to end sourcing through contract execution Responsible for procurement and managing of specialty imported foods for 76 Branches of US Foodservice; managed sourcing programs for National Hotel Chains and exclusive country clubs, restaurant chains on a national basis. Created 20 Million Dollar Sales/Marketing Campaigns such as “Ritz Escoffier” Line on a National Basis. Implemented Global Launch of Private Label Brands, such as “ Modenaceti, Molisana and Real Torini” Brand Labels. Negotiated Private Label agreements for Vinegar, Pastas, Chocolate, Rice etc…that yielded 10Million dollar + in sales Responsible in conjunction with Director of Sales and Executives of national sales campaign for Duet, Modenaci, Santa Lucia, Molisana, Pidy and other brands.
