Daily Duties at Western Region, Boy Scouts Of America:

My role as Deputy was to give leadership to the ten area directors serving the individual councils. We assisted in legal matters, staffing, strategic planning, fund raising and membership growth plans. I also ran all staff meetings and give leadership to the regions membership growth and strategic planning process. The region had ten working committee of volunteers and I gave leadership to ensure all committees met on a timely basis and given staff support. I personally gave leadership to one committee and gave leadership to regional staff to support the other committees. We served ninety-nine Scout councils and I gave leadership to the seven area directors to track the progess of the councils and give attention to the areas that were weak and below the organization's standards.
