Daily Duties at Headquarters, Area 1 Support Activity:
Serve as the occupational safety, health, and environmental manager for the command, comprised of two garrisons incorporating 42 installations. Administer and assist in the implementation of diverse base operations and programs involving occupational and off-duty safety, fire prevention, hazardous materials handling, storage, shipping, hazardous waste disposal, explosive and ammunition safety, motor vehicle accident prevention, family safety, construction and industrial safety, range safety, environmental protection, tactical operations and exercise safety (Foal Eagle, Ulchi Focus Lens, and Team Spirit), aviation safety, recreation safety and any other quality of life and combat service support functional areas applicable to the Area 1 mission.
