Daily Duties at Office Of The Chief Of Staff, Army (Army Safety Office):
Selected to advise Senior Army Leadership on Army-wide safety matters and responded to inquiries from the Offices of the President and Members of Congress. Assist in the development and implementation of the Army Safety Strategic Plan. Serve as Chairman of the Army Explosives Safety Council responsible for leading a team of Quality Assurance Surveillance Ammunition Specialists to ensure operations involving ammunition and explosives for the Untied States Army met Army safety criteria and standards. Serve as the Industrial Safety Evaluator on the Army Reactor Council to ensure Army reactors, nuclear and chemical weapons and materials met Surety criteria and were operated in a safe, secure, and reliable manner from activation through decommissioning.
