Daily Duties at West Hills Hospistal:
I mostly worked on the adolescent unit as charge nurse, but I also worked on the Senior unit and the chemical dependency unit as a psych nurse giving out meds, mingling with clients, observing them and charting, taking off orders, and calling the MD when necessary, etc. I admitted a couple of people a shift, and I had probably 18 to 20 paitnts at a time with one or two helpers.
