1. Evaluated the Level of Service of the intersection in 125th Street and Lenox Ave. during rush hours; 2. Identified the factors that increase the risk of an accident in this intersection; 3. Designed a model to enlarge pedestrian refuges, prohibit left turns and program traffic signals; 4. Built a model to reduce peak hour 7:45AM–8:45AM 22% intersection delay time; reduced peak hour 12:15PM–1:15PM 8.7% intersection delay time; reduced peak hour 4:45PM–5:45PM 22.2% intersection delay time.
