Daily Duties at Cisco Systems:

• Drive the Commercial Open Source Initiative (COSI) in the business unit evaluating all third parties licensing to ensure compliancy with Cisco Policy for Use or recommend alternative solutions. • Lead cross-functional development teams in order to manage interdependencies, shared resources, synchronize schedules to deliver customer solutions, including third party product integration for program continuity, and managed threats and. • Managed stakeholder expectations to ensure a “Go” vote at various CPDM Go/No-Go phase reviews: (concept, execute, delivery, and first customer readiness). • Analyze product requirement documentation including engineering specifications to create realistic project deliverables in order to establish realistic budgets, understand both positive and negative risk and create mitigation plans, and create realistic timelines that are achievable. • Maintain Project Dashboards, providing project status, milestone adherence, resource health, velocity, burn down and up, backlogs, and user stories. • Managed the business unit’s adoption of Agile methodology to speed solutions to market to meet customer demands; organize various trainings for SCRUM Masters, Product Owners, developers, and executives. • Manage multi-million dollar projects across various time zones.
