Managed project to build new disaster recovery hot-site facility in Salt Lake City UT, involving installation of new hardware, development of autonomous network to test enterprise recovery plans and software code changes to allow application restores on remote servers required for testing. Prior to installation of new facility, the organization had not tested in 3 years because the hardware was too old to run the applications. Managed project teams to develop technical recovery plans and business continuity procedures for critical business unit applications. Created project plan for development of new DR strategy requiring update of existing contingency hardware, purchase and installation of servers at new remote location and develop of recovery plan procedures. Negotiate interdepartmental support for personnel and systems support for remote testing. Conducted business continuity tests of new hardware and applications at remote test sites; provide daily status reports of test results to senior management and executive management teams. Generate audit compliance report to Federal OCC Auditors Conducted quarterly table-top exercises with Senior Management and Disaster Recovery Response teams. Conduct Business Continuity Awareness training sessions to key stakeholders across the Enterprise Ensure Emergency contact list accuracy and maintained in business continuity notification database.
