Daily Duties at Heald College :
Use quality instructional strategies. Quality strategies include teaching using a variety of paradigms, including lecture, group work, projects, hands on presentations and demonstrations, quizzes and exams utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Publisher, as well as written and verbal responses. • Keep current in subject matter. Learning is a never ending process. Books, internet research, collaboration, guest speakers, workshops, and training modules are some of the tools utilized to stay current. • Employ effective class management techniques. Participate in campus student success activities (graduation, orientation, etc). Attends professional development meetings. Participates in Heald’s Faculty Governance Model to include serving on curriculum review team, participating in annual and comprehensive program review and submitting data for assessment of student learning
