Daily Duties at South Shore Hospital:
Perform clinical assessments of psychiatrically-impaired patients who enter the SSH emergency room and decide on psychiatric hospitalization.If the patient is in need of hospitalization, my role is to find a hospital bed for the patient, present clinical information to the hospital, arrange for authorization if necessary for patients to receive hospital services and arrange for the transfer of the patient to the psychiatric hospital setting.
