Responsible for 24x7x52 availability of UPRR Electronic Teradata Data Warehouses in Omaha and St. Louis. Responsible for UPRR Electronic Teradata Data Warehouse system administration. Developed an integrated system to collect Teradata Data Warehouse performance and capacity planning data. Implemented real-time text pager alerts to System Administration, Operations, and Management. Coordinated with Database Administration staff, Omaha and St. Louis operations and scheduling. Interfaced with Data Engineering staff, data warehouse end users, and IT management. Actively involved in technical and functional meetings for problem management control.
