Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems:

Provided Teradata database, and Oracle database, programming support to Headquarters Air Force Weather Agency, in their conversion from a Teradata system to several Oracle systems. The work involved designing, coding, and converting data ingest and data mapping procedures from UNIX and mainframe systems to the data base systems. Designed Oracle database schema to support customer missions. Principal engineer responsible for conversion of the principle enterprise DBMS system and API from Teradata to Oracle. Requirements analysis, UML documentation, design, code, and conversion of data ingest and data mapping procedures from UNIX and mainframe systems to the data base systems. Post conversion, responsible for support of sixteen meteorological systems to the Oracle RDBMS and API, operating system upgrade, and Oracle upgrade. Actively involved in technical and functional meetings for problem management control. Provided ad hoc support and consultation in all aspects of the enterprise as requested. Employed Ada, C/C++, Java, FORTRAN, Pascal, COBOL, UNIX shell scripting, Perl, and various assembler languages to support customer applications.
