Daily Duties at Alabama Psychiatric Services :

• Performed patient intake, relevant health history and assessments, mental health history as it relates to age specific abnormalities and mental health disorders. • Performed comprehensive physical. • Performed comprehensive psychological evaluations that includes an evaluation of mental status changes, medication management, familial problems or issues related to the patients disorder and family support, current and past history of violence, suicidal or homicidal ideation or self-harm behavior, substance abuse/misuse, trauma, sexual behavior and developmental history. • Called patient, family or caregiver regarding medication, changes in behavior and other relevant issues. • Performed In-take on crisis calls and determined whether patient needed an emergency visit to our office or hospital. • Referred patients to Intensive Outpatient Program for chemical dependence or psychological disorders refractory to medication or psychotherapy. • Collaborated with all team members to provide excellent and seamless care. • Education for staff, patients and their family
