Daily Duties at Mervyns:

Managed inventory, operational controls and store resources. Implemented loss prevention procedures, created shortage and safety plans within the store and established and maintained positive business relationship with customers and vendors. Interviewed, hired, supervised, motivated, trained and evaluated up to 80 personnel. Served as the district college recruiter and training facilitator for higher education at MervU. Monitored staffing levels, expenditures, assets and inventory levels to ensure maximum profit margins.Ensured facility is maintained in an attractive, safe and efficient manner. Ensured operational procedures comply with federal, state, local and OSHA regulations.
