Daily Duties at Med Assurant:
Oversee all benefits to include self-insured and fully insured medical plans, HDHP, dental programs, life & AD&D, STD, LTD, flexible spending accounts, EAP, health savings accounts, and the company's retirement plan; Management of ongoing administration responsibilities related to all benefits, including day to day activities, as well as annual 401(k) plan audit; Facilitated weekly new hire employee benefits orientationl Cooordinated and managed open enrollment; Implemented wellness program to promote better health for employees.
