As the Lead Business Analyst for the MetaSolv Solution Product Service Request Module my responsibilities included: Becoming a subject matter expert on the Telecom Billing and Opperational support systems (BSS/OSS) and Telco business processes in particular Retail order Management, Resource Management and their interdependent life cycles. Create; analyze requirements based on Product Management, business stateholders, market and customer input. Document requirements as use cases, functional and non-functional statements in the company Rational Suite products like Rose and ReqPro. Created ERD models in S-Designer, Coordinated User Group activities including scheduling meetings, publishing agendas, meeting minutes/action items where applicable, and follow up reports. Collaborated with development, QA and documentation to ensure that requirements documents were implemented correctly. Coordinated review sessions with stateholders to ensure that expectations were met and to gain the necessary sign offs Tested requirements at all stages of the project, including functional validation and smoke testing of development deliverables to ensure compliance with the functional requirements as specified. Ensure that accepted test plans are executed by partnering with the Development, Engineering, QA and User teams to test, monitor and report variances; track and resolve any requirements defects including any that are incorrect, missing or have unintended consequences; refer back to the stakeholders if necessary. Work with the support team and business stakeholders to maintain product backlog.
