Daily Duties at Dcx Jeep Toledo North Plant:

• Over saw the entire painting process from start to finish from the body shop, e-coat, e-coat saw, and powder and painting system. • By walking through the entire system stage by stage to check for function ability issues that may arises and specified appearance requirements and track specified issues to determine corrective actions and/or Red X if required • Review vehicles from each system that completed the Phosphate and E-Coat baths and during the first oven stage and check them for defects prior to the powdering and painting (base and clear coats) processes. • Report my finding initially by providing a forecast to the other departments and to the shift team and plant management; if by chance plant management requires my expertise to support in specified areas to correct and /or improve any of the above systems. • Utilizing computer tracking and monitoring tools such as Paint Shop ARAC Overview, APIC32, Powder Booth ASH system Overview, DYNC SPC system, FIS Graphics- Paint Shop Area Overview • Testing the system for contaminates and ensures the process operating correctly while eliminating the possibility of contaminates within the painting process. • Work together with the entire painting department staff to ensure the highest level of quality while delivering painting materials. • And the standard office software to create a weekly reports and audits of paints and materials usage for the phosphate, e-coat, powder and painting processes on a weekly, monthly and quarterly bases.
