Daily Duties at Welspun Tubular, Llc :
Managed three HR team member Human Resources department in support of all HR functions for start-up steel pipe manufacturing plant Supervised HR team members for adherence to supporting plant in meeting strategic start-up business plan. Recruit critical management talent, engineering talent and technical talent, Oversaw recruitment of non-exempt associates to meet plant’s manpower planning needs. Counseled managers on legal issues pertaining to disciplinary action, documentation requirements, and employee terminations Advised managers on employee relations, including performance issues, tardiness and absenteeism, coworker disputes, morale and Company policy, Oversaw recruitment of non-exempt associates to meet plant’s manpower planning needs. Oversaw payroll and benefits administration. Provided HR metrics and collaborated with Staff for strategic planning. Oversaw new hire orientations and termination exit interviews processes Supported staffing and training of associates for start-up. Partnered with Safety Manager to drive safety culture. Other responsibilities include: Employee relations, training, development, coaching, communication, grievance resolution, investigations, Federal and State law compliance, team building, presentations, employee engagement, performance management, talent management, AAP
