Daily Duties at Stant Usa:
Lead three HR team members and one Safety Coordinator in all aspects of Human Resources programs as part of the facility’s leadership team by ensuring alignment with the company’s business strategies and local business needs for a 400 associate manufacturing plant. Recruit critical management and engineering talent. Counseled managers on legal issues pertaining to disciplinary action, documentation requirements, and employee terminations. Advised managers on employee relations, including performance issues, tardiness and absenteeism coworker disputes, morale and Company policy. Oversee recruitment of non-exempt associates to meet plant’s manpower planning needs. Oversee payroll and benefits administration. Collaborate with Industrial Engineers on lean manufacturing projects. Support staffing and training on project management of new processes. Managed all aspects of employee relations to provide conflict resolution and progressive disciplinary actions to maintain a positive work environment, Supervise Safety Coordinator in health, safety and environmental compliance and administrate Workmen’s Compensation process. Worked with staff to drive safety culture. Other responsibilities include: Working with staff to have a proactive approach to Employee relations and to resolve issues, training, development, coaching, communication, grievance resolution, investigations, Federal and State law compliance, team building, presentations, employee engagement, performance management, talent management, Comply with TS16949 Quality Management, Conduct wage surveys and benefit surveys, Manage Plant's AAP.
