Daily Duties at Wright Medical Technology:

Hired and directed a team of Supervisors, Machinists, Metal Finishers, and Lean Technicians on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to ensure departmental goals were met. Responsible for creating new budgets, and ensuring the department operated within set parameters. (New Equipment, Scrap Cost, Tooling Costs, WIP Levels, Lead Times, and Standard Hours Earned per Associate). Ensured work procedures were followed, and that implants were machined and metal finished to proper print specifications. Worked with Manufacturing Engineering to validate new products and equipment. Ensured that all new product launches were completed and made available for market on time, to secure our commitment to the preferred and common stock holders. Launch fulfillment at 100%. Redesigned machine layout to maximize efficiencies, and lower labor cost. Monitored housekeeping and organization of all work areas. Zero loss time accidents.
