Daily Duties at Sleek Surgical & Medspa:

Maintain aseptic technique at all times ●Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, and equipment, sterile drapes, sterile solutions, assemble both sterile and non-sterile equipment, as well as check and ensure that everything is working correctly and properly ●Preparing and setting up the operating room in preparation for all procedures, referring to physician preference cards, for all supplies, and instruments, need for surgical procedure ●Accomplish required scrub for all procedures ●Assist with skin preparation and draping the patient ●Assist in transportation and positioning, of patients, using proper body mechanics ●Gowning and gloving, all members of the surgical team ●Under the supervision of the surgeon and registered nurse I assist and anticipate the surgeons needs by passing instruments, holding retractors, cut sutures, count sponges, needles, sharps and anything that is accounted during a surgical procedure ●Using the case cart system delivering contaminated instruments, and supplies to prevent the spread of infection ●Cleaning disinfecting and maintain equipment in the operating room wrapping, sterilizing all instruments ●Follow up with all surgical patient the day after surgery schedule post operative appointments ●Help apply dressings and garments ●After surgeries help transfer patients to the recovery room ●Help turnover for the next case ●Circulate
